Every day in the United States the average person sees over 3,000 marketing ads per day. The ads we see today depict women as beautiful, sexy, perfect etc. but these are ideas of what media corporations have created. “No wonder our idea of media is distorted” when the pictures themselves are. Media corporations in the 21st century in the United States are intentionally presenting models that are just beyond unattainable. The images media corporations are having a negative effect on women today. These photoshopped pictures make society question what beauty is really supposed to look like.
